Vilas International is a new company formed and supported by seasoned Industry experts providing Maintenance Engineering and Asset Management Consulting and Training services. Our objective is to provide cost effective solutions to organizations that manage physical assets. Using a lifecycle approach our solutions help the client realize the lowest total cost of ownership and the highest reliability and availability while preserving the safety and integrity of their assets.

We deliver world-class consulting, training and technical advisory services to all industries that manage physical assets including oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, power, utilities and energy management. Although Vilas International is new we have a cadre of experts with years of experience helping businesses assure the performance of their organizations, products, people, facilities and equipment through industry proven best practices in maintenance and reliability.

Leadership

Tracy Strawn is the founder, owner and President of Vilas International, an Asset Management and Maintenance Engineering Consultancy. Maintenance and Reliability Consultant with over 42 years’ experience in process and manufacturing industries with 21 years spent in the upstream oil and gas industry managing surface and subsurface maintenance and operations activities.

As a professional management consultant, experience includes successful design and implementation of maintenance and reliability programs and change efforts. These engagements involved working with all levels of the organization in developing asset management strategies to deploy to plant and facility operations. Training experience includes design and delivery of custom education programs for public, industry clients, and the University setting.

Tracy has worked in 44 different countries around the world consulting and advising plants and facilities with maintenance and reliability improvement and change efforts.

His academic credentials include a BSc degree from California State University, Fresno and Post Graduate Studies in Behavioral Science at California State University, Bakersfield. Mr. Strawn is a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) through American Society of Quality (ASQ) and a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) through the Society of maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP). He is an accomplished conference speaker and has written numerous articles for publication asset management and maintenance engineering journals.
